Twelve-year-old Aru stretches the truth to fit in at her private school, but when she is dared to prove an ancient lamp is cursed, she inadvertently frees an ancient demon.
4.5/5. What a delightful read! Such a colorful middle grade fantasy full of interesting characters, rich and diverse worldbuilding, and moments of beautiful prose and description that made me step back and appreciate it. Definitely not one to miss!
