I think I like the idea and world building here. There were just a lot of moments where I was confused by some of the characters. I don't know if maybe that's on me (like I didn't research the series enough) or if it's on the way the story is told. Recommend to folx who enjoy graphic-novel style fantasy, make believe creatures, or who want an LGBTQIA-rep story.
