From Zero To Four Kids In Thirty Seconds is a fantastic and funny book about how Amy the independent woman who meets Mark, a divorced man with four kids, who works in the same building as her and they fall in love.

Amy got a lot more than she bargained for though, four kids is tough to deal with if they are your own kids, let a lone someone else’s and then you have two that are teenagers.

Some of the tips and chapter titles Amy wrote in the book made me giggle for example You can’t trade a bad kids in for a good head of lettuce, and A teenager can say ‘I love you, I hate you, you’re cool, you suck,’ in one breath to the same person. And mean every word.

Amy was honest and humorous throughout, I loved the way she wrote the book, it was never dull. Even planning her wedding was funny the way she chose her dress, delegated things for Mark to do.

Being a step mom isn’t so bad really, it just takes a bit of getting used to it.

Totally loved the book, it was well written and I couldn’t put it down.
