When the moon's gravitational pull increases, causing massive natural disasters on earth, Miranda and her family struggle to survive in a world without cities or sunlight, and wonder if anyone else in still alive.
A somewhat satisfying ending to this trilogy but I wished they had continued looking at the story from Alex's p.o.v. I would like to have heard Alex's voice when he was insisting that his sister had to go the convent and he wouldn't let her stay with Miranda's family. The ending seems a little contrived and I wasn't very happy with the way it played out but as a whole I really enjoyed the series.
