Natalie is Charlotte's sister from Big Rock and she first meet Wyatt through Charlotte and Spencer. Since the story is told from Wyatt's POV, we are kept in the dark about Natalie's feelings and I actually enjoyed the not knowing. The two of them have great chemistry. I loved their playful banter and camaraderie. Blakely allowed us to see the friendship they had built before Vegas.
There is an underlying sexual tension simmering between these two. I loved the buildup and eventual fireworks. A business opportunity takes them to Vegas. It's a huge deal for the business and it ends with a night of celebrating.
Nat has never been to Vegas and they plan to hit all the big tourist spots. The night begins with drinks, that lead to a wild, romantic and off the charts heated night. Oh and did I mention, they end up married? Natalie the ever practical and efficient assistant has the divorce paperwork filed before Wyatt’s hangover has even subsided. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas and all that.
So they head home, business as usual expect the two can’t keep their hands off each other. As feelings begin to muddy the waters they learn what happen in Vegas didn’t stay in Vegas. Blakely keeps the drama to a minimum, allowing for character growth and "ah ha" moments between heated scenes that only confirmed our beliefs in an HEA.
Blakely did a wonderful job of giving us realistic, loveable characters. She allowed me to become completely caught up in their story. I laughed, sighed and banged my head rooting for them.
Sebastian York is the perfect narrator for this male POV story. He captures Wyatt allowing listeners to laugh aloud, swoon and dream of slapping Wyatt in the back of the head. If you are looking for a sexy, rom-com with heart, you’ll want to listen to Well Hung.
