Because Your Mommy Loves You by Andrew Clements

Because Your Mommy Loves You

by Andrew Clements

I love the illustrations in this book and while this is a mother/son story the theme still holds true to a growing youth as a mother guides and allows a budding independence to grow. Sometimes as a parent and child it would be easier if mommy just fixed it all; however, kids grow and that is part of what parenting is all about. This camping adventure is a great example of it all.
