This is a series, which I think gets better with each book. I thought Alicia was a solid, tough Riley woman, who could stand toe to toe with any other member of the Riley clan. Garrett started out high on the jerk-meter, but that was acceptable, since he was facing an injury, which could end his career. I really liked watching him crawl out of his hole of self-pity, and turn into a loving, caring, wonderful man. This also gives me the warm fuzzies that all companion type series do for me. I love feeling like I am catching up with old friends, and the Riley family is a wonderful group to revisit. A solid edition to one of my guilty pleasure series.
