Seven Black Diamonds by Melissa Marr

Seven Black Diamonds (Seven Black Diamonds, #1)

by Melissa Marr

Lily's father has always shielded her from the truth, but when she's sent to the prestigious St. Columba's school, she's delivered straight into the arms of a fae Sleeper cell the Black Diamonds. The Diamonds are planted in the human world as the sons and daughters of the most influential families, and tasked with destroying it from within. Against her will, Lilywhite's been chosen to join them . . . and even the romantic attention of the fae rock singer Creed Morrison isn't enough to keep Lily from wanting to run back to the familiar world she knows.

Seven black diamonds was a solid entertaining 4 for me I really like the whole sleeper concept which to me was a concept i first ran across in Julie Kawaga Talon series. I like how Lilywhite or should I say Lilydark really knows what she wants she has choosen to stand strong and not become a follower of the bloodthirsty queen. She knows who she wants to love and does not just go along with the revenge plot. I thought that the whole quirk of the Abernathy rules to follow in life was a great way to cement the whole essence of who Lilywhite is. This is a very nice set up for a series that i sure i will love as much as the wicked lovely series.
