Predatory Game by Christine Feehan

Predatory Game (Ghostwalker, #6)

by Christine Feehan

Saber Winter was running from her past when she meets Jess Calhoun, an ex-officer with the U.S. forces elite Navy Seals division who's now confined to a wheel chair. Jess had sensed that Saber was a lost soul, and he'd given her a job and a home, hoping that she'd be willing to stay and finally share her secrets with him. But Saber has been on the run a long time, and Jess may be in a wheelchair, but he's also a GhostWalker, and both of their pasts are about to collide in the present when secrets they're both hiding get uncovered, and both must deal with betrayal before they're free to find a future together.

Saber Winter is running from her past, trying very hard to keep on top of her problems, some of which stem from the fact that she's a GhostWalker and she's afraid of what her powers could do. She's also afraid of being brought back in to the project and forced to kill, again.
Jess Calhoun is an ex-officer with the US Navy SEALS, now he's in a wheelchair and owns a radio station. Saber works for him and he's given her a place to stay as well. He's hoping that she will realise that he's in love with her, she's afraid what she could unknowingly do.

Yeah it's pretty predictable, but the characters are quite a lot of fun. Apart from Ms Feehan's facination with small child-like women.
