Ottercombe Bay – Part Two by Bella Osborne

Ottercombe Bay – Part Two (Ottercombe Bay, #2)

by Bella Osborne

Escape to the Devon coast, with Part Two of a four-part series from the author of Willow Cottage.

Daisy Wickens has returned to Ottercombe Bay, the picturesque Devon town where her mother died when she was a girl. She plans to leave as soon as her great uncle’s funeral is over, but Great Uncle Reg had other ideas. He’s left Daisy a significant inheritance – an old building in a state of disrepair, which could offer exciting possibilities, but to get it she must stay in Ottercombe Bay for twelve whole months.

With the help of a cast of quirky locals, a few gin cocktails and a black pug with plenty of attitude, Daisy might just turn this into something special. But can she ever hope to be happy among the ghosts of her past?

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. After reading part 1 of this series and the cliffhanger ending I just had to read part 2. In this part, Daisy decides what she is going to do with the railway and starts to make the place a little bit cleaner and well useful. I love the idea for the railway and I would most definitely visit a place like this.

Again this is a short book and I read it over only a few hours but Bella manages to pack a lot in only 100 pages. There are many threads and characters involved. I am starting to come around to Max. He's not exactly the most tactful but I think his heart is in the right place.
I really love Bugsy too. He is such a funny dog and manages to get himself into such situations

I am very intrigued as to what happened with Daisy's Mother. A mystery I am sure will be resolved in the next 2 parts.

This book again ends on a cliffhanger and I can't wait to jump back in with part 3
