*whistles*.....yeah it was pretty dang good! Loved it! The main girl, Remy, sets off to find her little brother in the middle of a zombie apocalypse (don't wanna give too much of the plot away!). I absolutely loved all of the characters (save for one which i'll tell ya bout later). The main-character, Remy, is a strong, kick-butt heroine who isn't afraid of a little zombie blood! which makes her freakin amazing in my eyes! Next ya got Harlow, a young thirteen year old girl, a bit naive but sweet all the same. And ripley!! she had to be my favorite! you have to read to find out why ;) Blue, who was training to become a doc, is a natural leader and does whats best, no matter what. He was actually a really sweet guy and i can't wait to learn more about him later on. Then comes Lazlo. O Lazlo. A former rock star that turns out to be pretty down to earth! He's not the "I'm a man, hear me roar" kinda guy but a pretty sweet one who isn't afraid to say Remy is better than him! yeah, he's pretty freakin hot! and then throw Tatum into the pic. Or should i say Pvt. Tatum. that's right ladies, he's in the Army! (GOOO ARMY!). Now I have to say, I am a self-proclaimed sucker for a man in uniform so I just gotta love Tatum! However, even though there are two guys, there is no love triangle (well at least in this book. who knows bout the next ones!)! Whew! Lazlo knows exactly who she wants and I am actually really happy w/ her choice!
The romance in this book was awesome! I love the hate turned love relationship. so much more interesting! (warning, there is an intimate scene) However, this ain't just romance. There is action, blood, and gore galore! which makes this book amazing! I loooovee myself some action! However, If your a bit squeamish, then it might be a bit hard to read but still try! its super good!!!
However, where there is good, there is also bad. The ending. O then ending. I'm warning y'all now, its a cliffhanger. But at least its a pretty good one. It's not one of those books that just ends w/o any answers, but it's definitely a cliffhanger that makes you turn the page and go "really?!?"
However, although the ending is a cliffhanger, between the character, romance, action, and plot itself, I absolutely loved it!!
