This was my first Karina Halle read and I LOVED it. I really wasn't sure how I'd feel about the subject matter but for me, she handled it beautifully. It wasn't like Vera and Mateo went into the situation with no guilt or remorse. As much as they felt for each other, they felt terrible about how their actions would affect others.
This book rocked my world and I will definitely be putting more of Ms. Halle's books on my TBR list. This was easily, one of the best books I read in 2014.
