There's not a human in my bathroom. There's a hyena stuck in the awkward stage of puberty, sucking down a helium balloon, and then letting it all go in an off-key rendition of the world's worst karaoke song.

The Last Eligible Billionaire by Pippa Grant

5 Maple Leafs

Hayes arrives at his private estate to try and find some solitude after the whirlwind of a month he has had but he did not expect to find a woman and her dog crashing the place. Begonia being fresh off her divorce and looking for adventure agrees to help Hayes and be his fake girlfriend until her summer vacation is over. Everything seems fine until a scandal puts everything into perspective.

Hayes and Begonia are my new favourite Pippa Grant couple. I absolutely loved this book from the beginning to the end. I was laughing out loud, had tears in my eyes, and my heart was so full by the end of the story. Marshmallow (the dog) is so mischievous and awesome. I loved all of the characters in this story and can not wait for the next Pippa Grant book as they are always a great escape from reality for a little while.

The Last Eligible Billionaire is a... billionaire, grumpy/sunshine, romantic comedy told in the dual first-person point-of-view.
