Okay, so don't exactly take my word for it. I wasn't able to finish this book because of specific tropes that I absolutely don't enjoy reading about. I loveeeed T.K. Leigh's A Beautiful Mess series and was definitely looking forward to reading this one.

I actually didn't realize this wasn't a standalone and was the 2nd book in a series. So, I'll admit, totally my fault for not reading more into this one. And I'm not one to completely take the synopsis to heart because sometimes it doesn't always tell everything ... as it shouldn't.

And I wasn't on board at all with the heroine's actions. I didn't like her reasons for doing what she did and it was rather unfair and just wrong. It made her a rather unlikable character.

So, if love triangles and cheating aren't something you like to read about. Skip this one.
