What an absolutely valuable lesson! (for the Mama and Papa's as well as kiddos...) The Berenstain Bears have always been a favorite staple of my bookshelves for as long as I can remember, but since they started the Living Lights series the moral lessons have gotten better and better and even incorporate scripture. What could be better to encourage my girls! Here and there I have found a few manners books, some I really find annoying, but others are quite cute and portray a lesson quite well.

This book takes the reader along a journey to picnic with the whole Bear Family, grandparents included. It's an adventure, but also a great way to show and explain respect and why it is important and how it is possible for any age to need a reminder now and then. Forgiveness, learning and moving forward is a wonderful thing.

I cannot wait to add more and more Berenstain Bear books to our shelves for my girls to enjoy for years to come.
