I’m pretty sure that this is the conclusion to the Cosmic Ghost Rider plot. It felt finished at least – though there is room for them to pick it up again, should they choose to. I really enjoyed the plot on the whole. Frank Castle as the Ghost Rider is so perfect, and I could see why he’d make all the assumptions and decisions he did.
What I really loved about this series had to be all the bright colors. It sounds counterintuitive for an intense series like this one (it has Castle in it – it goes without saying that there will be blood and violence) but it fits well with the cosmic tones. I would actually really love to see more bright colors make their way into the comic world – especially when it involves space.
This issue was a pretty decent wrap up. It explained the choices Castle made, forced him to fully see the consequences of it, and allowed him to make a decision based on that. I’m happy that they gave him a chance to learn something here. Whether or not it helps…or what the cost was for everyone else…well…that’s to be seen.
