I wasn't sure what to expect (especially since I somehow signed up to read the 2nd book in this duet without having read this one), but I was absolutely blown away by this story. I loved the chemistry between JC and Gwen. They were hot, funny and could pull at those emotional heartstrings like it was nobody's business. Definitely a book to pick up.
