This is my favorite Weekday Bride book yet! In this book, we get not one, but two romances. I was really excited to see a certain secondary character get a lot more focus, and the way Bybee approached the storyline really touched my heart. This book was also a lot of fun. What's not to love about a vacation on a private island? Meg is super fun and super sassy and I loved her chemistry with Val. Then, there is Val himself. Wow! He made me swoon, often. As always, we got swoony romance with a dash of high drama. I was biting my nails, once again, but I really loved how badass Bybee made Meg. I am kind of sad that there is only one book left in this series.
