I loved the fact that an author went and used MMA as part of the story. In all the books that I have read, I haven’t seen MMA used as part of a storyline. So huge kudos to the author.
Now the paranormal part of the book was pretty cut and dry. I also liked that Josiah was kept in the dark the whole book about the shapeshifters/vampires. When I meant kept in the dark, he knew what was going on but refused to believe when Lena and Yari spilled the beans. Only when Atticai attacked him, did he start to understand.
The love story part of the book wasn’t there. At least to me, it wasn’t. He was sleeping with Yari, wanted Lena and ended up with both. But no real expressions of undying love was made by him. To him, yes.
The book ended abruptly. But it did lead into the 2nd book, which seems to be Tommy’s story.
So, will I read this again? Sure.
