Everything that I loved about the first volume of Young Avengers is present in this one as well, but it only gets better. We find out some more answers and tensions begin to mount between the individuals.

Mother is still on the loose and the Young Avengers have been avoiding the places where their parents have died, meaning they have been on the run while Kid Wiccan gets stronger. However when a look-a-like shows up and kidnaps their friend Speed, they don’t have any choose but to jump back into the thick of it and try to save him. The journey takes them through a ton of different places, and opens up some new conflicts that I can’t wait to see come to a head in the next volumes. I’m totally curious about what’s going on with Kid Loki, and how things between Hulking and Kid Wiccan are going to play out.

The writing and art are still solid and the unquie wit still stands out when compared to other comics.

Overall this is an awesome storyline that I full recommend to Marvel fans, even if you haven’t read any of the previous Young Avenger story arc from 2006.
