This one started off strong, but the ending fizzled out and wrapped up a little too neatly for me. I mean, the whole thing with Demi's family and the way they abandoned Royal was forgiven a little too easily for me. I wanted more to come from that, considering how much they supposedly loved him as a boy. Then there was Brooks. Why wasn't there more about what happened after Demi discovered what he was up to? I was left with one too many questions with this one, even with the HEA.
