Mike Power, a mechanic, a golf player and very competitive to the point that he is suspected of killing the priest who beat him at a championship golf match.
The story seems disjointed at times. The chemistry between the characters lacks cohesive energy.
Mr. Power has good writing abilities but this book runs off the beaten path with the twist and turns that appear to lead to nowhere special. I kept reading Black Princess Mystery hoping it would unearth some plausible sensibilities.
Tasheka, multimillionaire, student, and black woman who has a great desire for white men. She finds white men attractive but does not understand why. The relationship with Adam is odd just as her connection with the detective investigating the murder.
