The night before she was due to meet her father for the first time, Cassie has what she thinks is a one night stand with a handsome stranger. But, their paths continued to cross, until they realize how many different ways they are connected to each other.

Things I liked

• I like Cassie. She was a nerdy tech girl with a penchant for dorky tees. Essentially, a girl after my own heart. I loved that she was there to build a relationship with her sisters and father, and respected how hard she was willing to work, even when she was facing pushback.

• Trey was a great hero. He was sweet and sexy, and though I am not a huge fan of deception, I understood why he kept a certain part of his identity under wraps. Murray gave him many opportunities to show what a great friend he was too with Stephen's storyline.

• The romance was great. Cassie and Trey had a lot of fun together. There was sparks and fireworks, but also some very sweet and tender moments. They seemed to have a lot of fun together, and I like seeing that mixed in with the drama

• I am a fool for sports romances, and that was the main reason I picked this one up.

The drama with the stepmother was a bit off putting, but overall, I enjoyed getting to see Cassie and Trey get their HEA, while also meeting some of the other Bobcat players. I anticipate continuing the series, and am especially interested in seeing how Stephen makes out.
