This was alright. It started off strong and the characters were likable, but then everything kinda fell apart. The initial escape and chase scenes were interesting and a little hot, then it got a lot less plausible towards the middle and the end. When the book switched from a more suspenseful read to a romantic/erotic novel.

The ending was let down, everything wrapped up nicely of course. They get a happily ever after But I feel like everything was told instead of shown. Abby goes from hating Grayson to loving him and I felt a complete disconnect from the story when that happened. I Don't understand what was so appealing about him. He treated her like an object. The author tried to explain the connection between the two but I wasn't convinced, I couldn't see it. If anything she had Stockholm syndrome or something.

The hotel was a really cool aspect, I kept wanting Abby to fix it up to make it look really cool and charming, they had enough money after all. But not much happened with it.

I may pick up the next book in the series, but I'm not sure. I wasn't as invested in the characters as I thought I was going to be.
