AMAZING.
The more Julia Quinn I read, the more I absolutely adore what she does with her characters. And not just her main characters. ALL her characters.
I started with the Smythe-Smith series (which is a wee bit out of order), but it was fun to see their musicals pop up in this series. It gives you the feeling that everyone is interconnected and there really is a regency period with JQ's characters.
And the family. I adore the way families and family dynamics are written. I laughed out loud at Hyacinth's antics with her brother. I want to immerse myself into the Bridgertons and their stories.
And Hyacinth... I liked her. In some ways, she reminded me of myself, and that's not something I see a lot of in books. Gareth is no slouch himself, though I do think I much preferred the heroine. And Lady Danbury. I 3 Lady Danbury.
I just want to gather up all these characters and take them with me. *hugs them all*
