What do you know two 5-Star cover rating from yours truly in the same week. I LOVE this cover. Great representation of the story. Great use of graphics. Excellent composition and typography. Bright and eye-catching colors. Fabulous job.

I enjoyed this one for the most part. The writing was good. The pace was good. I LOVED the entire cast of secondary characters. This was one of those books with a close knit family type plot, and I can't wait to read more books featuring all of Finn's brothers and sisters. There was no OW/OM drama. No angst to speak of. Unfortunately no descriptive sex scenes (which did lower my rating a bit).

Both main characters were fairly likable. Finn I loved. He was super sweet and adorable. Melanie, I found a little harder to like. At certain she just came across WAY too mousy. I realize the author was trying to write her as a shy introvert, but let me tell you "I" am a shy introvert and some of the times Melanie just acted like a clueless idiot. Like after Finn and she finally has sex and tells each other "I love you" she isn't sure he wants her to sleep in his bed with him. Umm, that isn't being shy, that is just being a complete idiot. *lol* Thankfully, for the most part, those times didn't overpower the book.

The major issue I did have with this one is I knew from the very minute this character was introduced that they were going to be the baddie. I even knew what their connection was going to be to the main characters. It was pretty much neon signed from the beginning. In any case, despite those small issues, this was still an enjoyable read, and I look forward to seeing what the author has in store for this family. A thumb and pinky finger up from yours truly.
