4.5/5. Man, this book was intense! I kept checking that this was a middle grade because there were some graphic death scenes that I'm not used to reading in MG. It definitely kept me on my toes tho! I loved the different dragon clans and never knew where the plot would lead. Can't wait to pick up the next audiobook, I'm sure I'll fly through that one too. :)
