One of the best...

I think this is my favourite in the Lucky Harbour Series. Loved the dynamics of the couple, Tanner and Callie, the friendships on both sides and the special way that Lucille featured in this one.

I admit the previous story in this series, Cole and Olivia's, was my least favourites and so I went into the start of this one not expecting much. I did not like the way the friendship and trust was tested between Cole, Sam and Tanner in the last book and I wasn't sure if the dynamics would change because of it. Luckily it seemed everything was back to normal, but obviously with each man finding their loves, their priorities shifted.

The previous relationships of both main characters did not put a strain on Tanner's and Callie's budding romance. Both Eric and Elisa (the previous partners) came across as selfish and I would have loved to see Tanner teach Eric some manners and Callie laugh in Elisa's face for losing both Tanner's and Troy.

Lots of sexy bits with chemistry that was sizzling. I laughed throughout the story but there were also bits that brought a tear to my eye.

Jill Shalvis is still one of my favourite authors and I'm glad that she finished the series with a bang. I enjoyed the look back at all of the match ups that Lucille orchestrated (in her opinion) and I even tested myself to remember each hero's job and the storyline surrounding them. Surprisingly I remembered them all.

Great work Ms Shalvis, can't wait to see what's up next.
