I really enjoyed the X-Men Black line, so I’m a bit sad to see it go. It’s always fun to see a new perspective on the same setting, and what could possibly be more drastic of a change than to have us see everything through the antagonists eyes? Okay, so some of these characters aren’t always antagonists, but they dance over the line often enough to count in this case.
Emma Frost always makes me think of a classical vampire. The type with class that have mastered politics, while still not taking shit from anybody. They’re usually the best at plotting revenge, or just getting what they want, and they’re not afraid to play the long game. Sound familiar? I think that’s why I like her character so much, and why I enjoyed seeing things from her perspective here.
