I thouroughly enjoyed "Trickster". It had a little bit of everyhing...shifters, action, mystery, manlove, and some real humor. I love a book that can make me laugh.

Mark works as an IT contractor at Trickster Technologies, and he's absolutely straight. He's dating a beautiful woman, and has never thought about a man in "that way". Along comes Delaney, the CTO at the office. He's fresh off a vacation, and as soon as he walks into the building, he senses his mate and has developed tunnel vision and can only think about claming him. He's surprised that his mate's a man because he's straight as well. But...the heart wants what it wants.

The book takes off from there. Mark's house is broken into, and Delaney must protect him from whoever is out there trying to hurt him. This is where the mystery and action begins. It's well written and has a nice flow. Mark and Delaney have a great chemistry. As I said, they really made me laugh. Their sexual attraction is VERY hot, and the love scenes were panty melting. It's not a very long story, so everything plugs along quickly, but it doesn't feel rushed (if that makes sense), and it doesn't feel like anything was left out just to keep the length down.

I was very impressed with this book. It was the first that I've read from Nicola Cameron, and it won't be the last. I've already recommended "Trickster" to a few people, and I will continue to do that.
