Lonesome Cowboy by Debbie Macomber

Lonesome Cowboy (Heart of Texas, #1) (Enchanted S.)

by Debbie Macomber

Everyone in Promise thinks Savannah Weston is an old-fashioned kind of woman, quietly content to stay on the family ranch with her brother Grady. But Savannah has her passions--for the old roses she loves to grow, for the children she hopes to have. And for a man named Laredo Smith. He's a stranger to Promise, a disenchanted cowboy who may just change Savannah's life!

I really wanted to like this since I read it due to a friend's recommendation, but I didn't. The male characters in this book were not smart and Savannah should have just turned tail and run as far away from all of them as she could. She was the only one with a lick of sense and I hated that she had to deal with one domineering brother, a manipulative self-centered brother and an indecisive love interest. She could have done a lot better on her own.
