Alpha's Claim by Amelia Hutchins

Alpha's Claim (Kingdom of Wolves, #7)

by Amelia Hutchins

Ten years ago, I looked my mate in the eye, and I lied to him.
I told him he wasn’t my mate and that I never wanted to see him again.
I did it to save his life from my father, the alpha of the pack.
Now Saint is back, and he’s the king of all alphas, with an entire pack created of other alphas he saved from what my father did to them.
The thing is, Saint is back for revenge against those who wronged him, and I’m at the top of his list.
I did it to save his life, but the cost will be my own.
Ten years ago, she broke my heart and ripped out my soul.
Her father sent me away to a place worse than hell.
I escaped the fate he chose for us and built a pack that couldn’t be broken.
I’m the King of Alphas, and I’m heading straight for her.
Braelyn broke me, but I intend to break her apart until there’s nothing left but her worthless soul, and when I reach it? I intend to rip it apart too.

Phew...hang on while I fan myself a little here. :)
Is it hot in here? I feel like it's darn hot in here...

As usual with a Hutchins book...I can not put it down. And this book is beautiful. So so beautiful. I absolutely loved it. It is in the same universe as [b:King of the Shadow Fae|54815357|King of the Shadow Fae (The Darkest Fae, #1)|Amelia Hutchins|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1596551208l/54815357._SY75_.jpg|85516439], [b:Bulletproof Damsel|56982006|Bulletproof Damsel (Urban Fantasy Romance Series Book, #1)|Amelia Hutchins|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1612718220l/56982006._SX50_.jpg|89134059] & the E.V.I.E anthology - and I am betting we'll see even more books in this universe because there are so many characters here that need their own books! *fans self again*

This book has some real dark scenes (mostly memories etc) so it can get a bit gory.
But I absolutely loved Saint & Braelyn. She's so so strong, and he's a really great male - though slightly daft at times ofc, not to mention stubborn, but that's how Amelia writes her Alphaholes, haha, and I love it.

I really want to see more of Saint and Brae so the book just hasn't ended for me, and I hope we will meet them again soon. :)

This universe is vast and it's amazing. Amelia writes gripping edge scenes that keep you unable to put down the books because you NEED to know what is gonna happen. She keeps your focus through the entire book and when it's finished you just want more.

I feel like I can't really write much about the contents of the book because I feel it spoils this book. But read the blurb and you get very much what the book is about. But also know that there are many secrets and sometimes people do things for the best reasons, even if it didn't turn out as intended. ;)

I can only give 5 stars because there are no more to give - but I would give it the universe. This book is an absolute must read. As is the other books in this amazing universe.

So grab your blanket, snuggle up and get ready to be immersed for as long as it takes you to read this book.
