by Christina Lauren

Book 3 in the Wild Seasonsseries that began with New York Timesbestseller Sweet Filthy Boy. When three besties meet three hot guys in Vegas, anything could-and does-happen. Moving from college into the real world has never been so crazy . . . or fun. Let the Wild Seasons begin.

In Dark Wild Night, now that they're only friends, kissing Lola is all Oliver can think about. Trying to forget her with a wild, anonymous hookup, he's simultaneously thrilled and torn: Is this his chance to get over her? Or will this new stranger only pull him in deeper?

DARK WILD NIGHT is hands down my favorite of the Wild Season series. This is a story of friends to lovers or I guess married couple to unmarried couple, friends to lovers story. Oliver and Lola are so damn amusing. I chuckled out loud at times and wanted to bang my head on the desk when they were being overly difficult.

I find Christina Lauren’s books to be a bit like crack. I can't stop buying them, reading them and going back for more. They excel at developing characters that you want to know. I would love to be friends with both Lola and Oliver. As a couple, I adored them more. I was rooting for them from the first chapter. Seriously.

Oliver is seriously a dream. He is an Aussie, who has a nerdy side, who owns a comic book store, who is all kinds of tall and sexy. I should mention he is beyond sweet and hopelessly romantic. There is not a bit of alpha male here in their day to day lives. He is a complete gentleman and a charmer. Behind close doors, he might be a bit different with Lola.

I adored Lola. She is a total geek that loves her world of fantasies that she builds. She is an artist and a writer and loses herself in the worlds she creates. I wanted to be friends with her. She is driven, successful and not afraid to say what she thinks and she really puts thought into every details of her work and they way she handles her personal business.

Oliver gets her. He understands her. She understands him. They married on a whim on a crazy night in Vegas with friends but unlike the rest of the group, they divorced, moved on and became best friends. Except, now they both want more. The ride to get them to their HEA was a fun one.

These two seemed so real. Their problems seemed real and their reactions and interactions with each other seemed real. This is a story of two people who love and adore each other immensely with insecurities and everyday problems trying to make it work. There was no extra drama for drama sake. They just needed to work through everything at a normal pace. I just adored the two of them and couldn't put this one down. My favorite of the series to date!
