Kade's Turn by Tiffany Snow

Kade's Turn (Kathleen Turner, #7)

by Tiffany Snow

Assassin-for-hire Kade Dennon knows exactly who he is: a soulless killer who can’t be saved. And he thinks he’s fine with that…until he meets Kathleen. Beautiful, kind, and tough as nails, Kathleen Turner is nothing like the nameless one-night stands Kade usually goes for. Just being around her makes the hardened hit man feel emotions he never thought were possible. There’s just one problem: Kathleen is dating Kade’s brother, hotshot attorney Blane Kirk.

When a shadowy figure starts threatening Kathleen’s life and forces Blane to lose a high-stakes trial, Kade is thrown into the role of reluctant bodyguard for the most captivating woman he’s ever known. For a man who spends his life taking down murderers and psychopaths, this battle against his feelings might prove to be the fight of his life.

Kade’s Turn is a companion novel to Turn to Me, Book Two in The Kathleen Turner Series.

Revised edition: This edition of Kade's Turn includes editorial revisions.

For anyone who has read my reviews of Tiffany Snow's Kathleen Turner series, you know I have been Team Kade all the way. I was the one reader who couldn't understand why we weren't getting more Kade early on. I wanted more back story, more scenes, and more brooding, swaggery goodness in the early books. Turn on a Dime is exactly what I had been waiting for: all Kade, on every page. Believe me, I really loved Blaine too but Kade was by far the more interesting character.

In Turn on a Dime, Tiffany Snow managed to answer a ton of burning questions I had throughout the series and showed just why Kade was right for Kat. Every page made my heart a little happier because after all the naysayers (Team Blaine) booed at the ending, my heart hurt a little for Kade. He deserved happiness too and get got it. This book allowed all of us on Team Kade to blow a collective sigh of relief as Tiffany Snow, the gifted author that she is, quieted all the naysayers. You may still be Team Blaine but now you should better understand why Kade was a good choice too.

If Tiffany is reading this, I loved this book but if I am honest, I wouldn't have minded to have a few of Kade's thoughts on some of the hottest scenes in the series....should I need to spell it out....the closet scene, Vegas, and the reuniting of Kade and Kat! Feel free to fill my inbox with those, I am happy to read and reread over and over again!
