It's funny how once you get started on a series, it can be hard to stop reading all the books in it. I'm not specifically a fan of books about royalty, movie stars or wealthy people, I simply enjoy reading people's stories. And once I've spent time with them, well, I have to keep reading.
Here are some things I enjoyed about The (Elusive) Princess
Evie's insecurity and shyness
The way Peter seemed to understand Evie so well
The snarky way Evie treated her brother, the king
Evie's interactions with the band members at the amusement park
Peter's difficulty in figuring out how to address Evie's brother, King Benjamin
The way Evie and Peter fell so instantly for each other
How Peter was able to tell immediately that Evie was pretending to be her identical twin, Gen - he could always tell the difference between them right away
Gen's disappearance and the way Evie stepped so far out of her comfort zone to help the family deal with it
The (Elusive) Princess is a sweet continuation of the Crowns & Courtship series. It does end with a cliff-hanger yet in such a way it is still a satisfactory conclusion. It's (Royally) Complicated, Gen's story, is slated to release October 1, so it isn't too long to wait.
