I've always been a sucker for Unsolved Mysteries and Cold Case so when I saw this was free on Audible last year I had to snap it up. I wouldn't considerWest Cork to be a binge listen but it is addicting. The crime is shocking, and the fact that it has gone unsolved despite having a suspect is surprising. For those like myself, who have devoured Netflix's The Staircase and Making a Murderer, this is a must-listen.

The sound quality wasn't always the best, mainly due to background noise or the tone of the person being interviewed.  Therefore, I did have to go back and listen at a slower pace. However, it was not a huge complaint.

Because it is unsolved, the podcast just kind of ends, not because it is a cold case but it was almost like the producers didn't know how to close it. I thought that was very unfortunate and left me just as puzzled as the case itself.

This was my first time listening to a podcast series and do not think it will be my last.
