Giving this one 3.5 stars. SO much better than the first. There were still some issues, but not nearly on the scale of the first book. The writing still, often, wasn't my cup of tea, by there was actual action! A plot! Real twists! Characters growing and learning and getting to know one another! SHIP! And the ending was pretty great, so I'm jumping right into book 3...
