Sin For You by Sherilee Gray

Sin For You (Rocktown Ink, #2)

by Sherilee Gray

My best friend's sister is back in town, and while she’s here, she's under my protection. Quinn Parker had her heart broken, and I'll make sure no one hurts her again.

But when she starts looking around for a hot, no-strings distraction, I can’t stand back and do nothing. No one is touching this vibrant beauty...but me.

She’s the woman of my dreams, but Quinn wants a good time, not a long time. We play by her rules: no one finds out, no one gets hurt.

I have to keep it casual because an ex-con like me can't offer her forever…even if I want so much more.

Sin for You combines small towns and brother's best friend romances to create a sizzling hot story! Quinn and "Bull" have known each other for years, but when Quinn comes back to Rocktown, things have changed.

Let me first say there were things that annoyed me to no end. I say that because despite these annoyances, I still cared about Quinn and Bull and wanted to see what would happen. These two suck at talking to each other honestly. Neither could say what they actually meant and it led to so many issues. These are things I expect in a YA or NA romance, but Quinn and Bull are in their late twenties, so it was just immature.

Lack of adult communication aside, Sin for You does deliver a very hot romance. Quinn and Bull begin as a "sex buddies" only relationship. Both of them have more baggage than anyone is permitted on a flight. Like, they would both have to pay hundreds of dollars for all the extra baggage they are dragging. Female readers will empathize with Quinn and her insecurities. She has been cheated on and has the fear that she isn't good enough. She also worries that Bull is only there because he has some sort of white knight complex. I really understood her fear and confusion, so I was able to have compassion for Quinn. I also understood that Bull's love language is acts of service. While Quinn misunderstood them, in his brain, he was telling her he loved her. Its very "As you wish".

Sin for You may have some damaged characters, but Quinn and Bull did NOT struggle to connect in the bedroom. There are plenty of steamy scenes that really light the pages on fire. Overall, if you like internal angst, brother's best friend, and a no strings relationship turned real, Sin for You is a good pick!
