Can Mia and Ross work together without fighting?

Paint Me a Christmas by Anna Adams is a great Christmas book that is great for all ages to read. Ms. Adams created two realistic people that are both too stubborn to realize that they work together as a couple. Mia Thompson and Ross Delaney are excellent characters who I’m glad got their happy ending together.

Mia Thompson

Ms. Thompson is a painter that does specialty work; she is more into the painting on canvas’s or doing a mural. Mia got wrapped up into working on the Carousel pieces that needed to be painted and knew that she needed help, so she asked her ex Ross Delaney to help. She wants to get the Carousel pieces done and get her friendship with Ross back.

Mia is a complex person, but she knows what she wants in life and isn't afraid to try for it. She is a great person that wants a beautiful relationship. Mia and Ross have been best friends since they were babies. The one thing that I don’t like about her is that she didn't listen to her friends and try to work it out with Ross.

Ross Delaney

Ross Delaney is the main male and love interest in this story. He wants life to go back to the way it was but has a hard time trying to talk it out with Mia. These two are so similar that it’s kind of scary, but in a lovingly way, it’s what makes them work. Both are stubborn and don’t like to listen to the townsfolk, trying to help them out.

I like that Ross is that he is trying to do what Mia wants while also not giving in to his feelings. These two are hurting each other by not talking about their issues because they both think that it’s what the other wants.

Five Stars

Paint Me a Christmas by Anna Adams was a pretty exciting read. I do have to say that I kept on talking out loud to the characters throughout the entire time I was reading. I’m pretty much sure my parents think I’m nuts. Besides that, it is a great read and one that won’t take you too long to finish. However, you may want to bundle up in a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate while wishing it is Christmas time again.

Thank you for dropping by! I hope you enjoyed this review of Paint Me a Christmas by Anna Adams.

Happy Reading!
