I had won this book last year but never read it. This year, I was looking for something quick, something fun and something sexy to read, especially if it had to do with Football (I’m a sucker for those) so I decided to pick this one up and I’m so glad I did. I was headed towards a reading slump and this saved me.

I have to be honest and say that Aubree frustrated me—she would forgive Hunter way too fast! I know the mature thing to do is forgive but woman, make him suffer just a little—makes the story more exciting hehehe. I loved seeing Aubree grow and letting go of her fears when it came to basketball. She definitely made some character development and the story is focused more on her and her growth than anything else. Hunter is a hot, stereotypical, football player that seems to be around in the NA stories, but I didn’t let that phase me for once. Even though he is hot, I was fed up with things he did that hurt Aubree, which made me want to punch the guy.

The supporting characters were fantastic! I couldn’t have asked for better characters: Maddy, Grandma, Mom, BJ and even Connor were great additions to the story and they added their one kind of fun to it. As soon as I had finished this book, I 1-clicked Charming the Outback!
