A delightful Christmas read that tells the story of how Father Christmas—and his holiday—came to be. It’s a story that will probably feel familiar if you were a child who was told stories about Christmas, but it’s also wholly unique and the tale takes a bit of a surprising turn. I’d recommend this without reservation to any child who wants to get into the holiday spirit—and any grown-up, too.

I’m starting to become convinced that [a:Matt Haig|76360|Matt Haig|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1296764418p2/76360.jpg] is a genius and I’m looking forward to reading even more of his work.
