Reborn Yesterday by Tessa Bailey

Reborn Yesterday (Phenomenal Fate, #1)

by Tessa Bailey

A timeless love story with bite.

It was a night like any other for funeral home director Ginny Lynn, until the exceptionally handsome—and unfortunately deceased—young man on her embalming table sat up, opened his emerald eyes and changed the course of her life
forever, making her feel quite fluttery while he was at it.

Humans aren’t supposed to know Jonas Cantrell, or any vampire, exists. It’s kind of a major rule. Despite his instantaneous bond with perfectly peculiar Ginny, he has no choice but to erase her memories of their one and only meeting.

That was the plan. Before a reluctant Jonas can wipe Ginny’s mind clean, she reveals a secret that brings their worlds crashing together. Human and vampire. Past and present. Darkness and light. And while their love is strictly forbidden, it might be the
only thing that can save them…

Reborn Yesterday is a standalone novel.

I didn't see this one coming...

Reading romance is one of my favourite things to do. It's even more of a pleasure when I get surprised by what I'm reading. This story was not at all what I was expecting. Tessa Bailey has written an original story filled with love, humour, passion and strength. The characters were a joy to meet and I definitely want more from this world I was introduced to.

I absolutely loved Ginny and Jonas together and thought their love story played out perfectly. Yes, I thought it moved a little too slowly in the beginning. By the stories conclusion, I realised it needed to be tested to get to the right ending.

The cover was eye-catching, the storyline original, the characters lovable and the connection between Ginny and Jonas, jumped off the pages. For the most part, I really enjoyed Reborn Yesterday. I admit that Jonas could be a little thoughtless with his decision making but Ginny made sure to stand her ground. I can't wait for Roksanna and Elias' story and would love Tucker to get his own happy ever after.

If you're looking for something a little different, I highly recommend giving Reborn Yesterday a try.
