Invaders (2019-) #1

Invaders is a new Marvel series, and it looks like it’s going to be spending a lot of its time bouncing back and forth between two events. The first is the present, naturally. And the second would be WWII, during Captain America’s original battles.
I probably should have expected more of that, but somehow I was surprised. Still, it was interesting seeing how the two different time periods mesh together to give us a better idea of the real story behind in all.
On the whole, I think this new series has potential. I enjoyed it, but I’ve only read predominantly Captain America series and not much of Namor. So I can’t speak to the accuracy of how his character was handled.
