This is adorable as are all Kevin Henkes books, while not my favorite it is a fun easy reader with a "different egg" story. This is a fairly easy reader and my daughter working on CVC words can read all but one word on her own. It has lots of good repetition and would make a good story for discussing sequence. It is adorable pastels for spring and I am glad to add it to our shelf.
