This was a quick read about a chinese girl who refused to allow her feet to be bound. It's a beautiful story of her journey through changing times and finding herself between a foreigner and an outcast to her own family, and still believing in her ambitions of being unbound.
Highly recommend. Despite its short story, it was a powerful, uplifting and emotional book that I really enjoyed.
