I just finished reading For Love and Honor and I'm feeling so many emotions. This new novel by the very talented Sarah Eden is a superb read.

We once again get to visit the world of the Jonquil family. This time younger brother Stanley has come home from the war. He is hurting not only physically but mentally and emotionally. He is suffering from what we now know is PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Stanley is having a hard time coming to terms with the loss of his men and also with the loss of who he used to be before he left for the war. The beautiful and kind Marjie is very much in love with Stanley but he keeps pushing her away. It was heart-wrenching to see these two people that are so in love with each other not quite know how to acknowledge this love and keep pushing each other away to protect their hearts. I truly loved both Stanley and Marjie and feel they are such well developed characters. Their story will stay with me for a long time.

I also enjoyed having the other Jonquil brothers around once more. This only made me want to go back and read all of the series again. This beautiful romance will pull at your heartstrings. Every time I read another book by Sarah Eden I declare that this new one is now my favorite. This book could read as a stand alone but I highly recommend you read all of the Jonquil family series in the order written. This will add to the richness of the story and the abundant family love and support you'll experience in reading For Love or Honor.
