Tiger's Voyage by Colleen Houck

Tiger's Voyage (Tiger's Curse, #3)

by Colleen Houck

Danger. Heartbreak. Choices.
Is forever too long to wait for true love?

Five mythical Chinese dragons and the open sea beckon nineteen-year-old Kelsey who must embark on a third voyage—this time to find the goddess Durga's Black Pearl Necklace and free her beloved Ren from both the tiger's curse and his sudden amnesia. Ren's bad-boy brother, Kishan, however, has other plans, and the two vie for her affection to try to outsmart those intent on foiling their goal.

Tiger's Voyage, the thirad book in the Tiger's Curse series, spins a deliciously suspenseful tale of enchanted creatures, love-torn hearts, and edge-of-your-seat action as Kelsey, Ren, and Kishan journey toward their true destiny.

I’m not sure how I feel about this one. I really, really like the idea of it but I just wasn’t feeling it. I really didn’t like the love triangle. I thought for sure Kelsey was going to pick someone this book and she didn’t really. I think we all know who she’s going to pick in the end, though I’m not supportive of her decision. I liked the rest of the plot though. It was sticking with the Indian mythology theme and was really cool. I was just not a big fan of the characters this time. I still love Kishan to death but I found Ren was WAY different from the first book. He’s so much harsher now. It was strange seeing it.

Also the author’s writing isn’t the best. But if you can get past it, it’s not a bad read. I really, really hope the next book is better because I think the series is starting to go down hill. I’d like to see the author pull off a great ending.
