Major Jacob "Jake" O'Connell has been training men for an assignment that he's asked to join at the last minute. He was told that he (and the soldiers he's been training) would be partnered up with soldiers from another planet in order to help them train to fight their mortal enemies. In exchange, they've agreed to share some of their technology with the army.
I don't really want to give away any more real detail, but I'll tell you that the three brothers he's teamed with on Terra Nova want Jake as their partner AND mate.
This is a very hot story. However, it's also very sweet. Jake and his Talamachait warriors have such a wonderful chemistry. Each have different personalites that, alongside Jake, make a perfect family. I loved reading about their interactions and...well...the sex is amazing!
Along with the heat, "The Major's Warriors" has a lot of action and intrigue. Something isn't on the up and up, and our heroes, along with the other warriors have to discover what that is before chaos breaks out. Unlike some stories where the action is just a distraction from the sex and romance, it's very important and interesting. No cheap filler here.
I am highly recommending this book. It has something for everyone.
