Runaway Baby Brother by Katy Hudson is the follow-up book to Runaway Egg but works on its own. This beautifully illustrated story shares older brother's frustration at having his new baby brother tag along. The story is a familiar one with adorable fuzzy chicks. As the story progressed we see the older brother become more frustrated at having his little brother tag along. He needs attention, cannot keep up and gets into mischief. Having had enough big brother wonders off and spends a glorious, peaceful afternoon alone. As night begins to fall, he becomes fearful of being alone. This is of course when baby brother appears and big brother realizes maybe the little guy isn't so bad. I loved the message and Sophia loved the pictures that accompanied the story.
