I received an advanced/review copy of this book. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content and honesty of my review.

This book was somewhat reminiscent of Uglies by Scott Westerfield, which was a huge plus for me as I'm a big fan of that series. The writing was fabulous, the world-building and character development were amazing, and the action had me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book. From the first page, you dive right into the depths of the story and you don't emerge until the last page. The one thing that kept this book from being fully five stars for me was that her visions as a Seer were often hard to differentiate from reality, which left me a bit confused. BUT. I see why the author did it that way and it didn't diminish my enjoyment of the story as a whole.

I loved this book and definitely highly recommend it! Please take a peek at my blog for my full review, with my in-depth thoughts and a custom made teaser by me :)
